My name is Nicole. I am a mother to my son Oakley, I am also a woman, a wife, a sister and a daughter of the Earth. I walk alongside women as a holistic birth and postpartum doula, as well as holding sacred women’s circles and facilitating pregnancy yoga and embodied movement.

I was called to the birth world after listening to a woman share her empowering and blissful home birth story. It was one of those pivotal moments in my life where I realised that the stories I had been told about birth thus far were wrong - that birth could (and should) be an empowering, transformational experience which allows a woman to feel fully connected to her intuition and to that place of both strength and softness within her. I brought my son earth side with my husband and my doula by my side, and I can without a doubt say that my birth would have unfolded differently had it not been for the unwavering presence of my doula. After moving through the birth portal myself, I felt this deeper call to be with women as they navigate their own path to motherhood and I enrolled for my Conscious Birthing training with the incredible Samsara Tanner who I am now blessed to have as my mentor.

My journey thus far has not been linear but rather it has been a series of spirals as I navigate the many ebbs and flows encountered along the way. I have experienced feelings of unworthiness and self-doubt, felt the grip of all consuming anger, sat under the cloud of shame and guilt, armoured myself up against perceived criticism and been so identified with the thoughts racing through my mind. And along the way I have realised that perfection does not exist and that it is okay to hold both the beauty and the messiness of life at the same time.

My deepest service is to remind all women and mothers that they are deeply held and loved unconditionally by our Mother Earth, and to offer a safe space for women to step into their intuitive power and come back home to the wisdom of their hearts and wombs. I believe that this journey of coming home looks different for every woman and so I endeavour to meet you where you're at, welcoming all parts of you, just as you are.
